"Little Miss Hoover" is included in our program to illustrate the work and contributions of our star director John S. Robertson.

"Little Miss Hoover" is a romantic comedy. A young woman begins raising chickens to help the Food Administration.

Only a couple of films survive with Marguerite Clark, who at the time reportedly was second in popularity closely behind Mary Pickford. The film was created by the Canadian-born director John S. Robertson, who made a very successful career in Hollywood.
